The Mighty Hurricane originally belonged to one of the racing teams that dissolved after the big accident four years ago when the Grand Prix was discontinued for a time. Oddly enough, every member of that team has since been reported as missing. The machine itself it has strong boost and gripping ability, but its lack of a strong body requires Roger to avoid frequent contact with other machines.

F-Zero AX description card (NTSC): This machine was built by the team which was forced to break up during the time F-Zero Grand prix was suspended for three years. Mysteriously, the team members are all missing now. Although the boost and the grip is well, the body has a defect and it's as weak as a lightweight machine, so it requires an advanced skill to drive without crashing.

F-Zero GX Complete Guidebook (Japanese, translated): It is said to have been built by Shooting Star, a racing team that was forced to disband during the race cancellation period. It has relatively high boost and grip performance, but its body strength is defective, making it as weak as a lightweight machine. It requires advanced maneuvering techniques to avoid contact as much as possible.
