F-Zero Grand Prix is a special stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee that only appears in Adventure Mode and Event 33: Lethal Marathon. It is based on the Big Blue track seen in F-Zero X.
In this stage, the player has to reach the end while he/she avoids the F-Zero racers. To avoid the F-Zero racers, the player would run as fast as possible to a pink platform and stay on it while the F-Zero racers race by. Once they are gone, the player can continue running until an arrow pointing to the left tells you they are coming again.
If the player is hit by a car, the player will receive 30-40% of damage and will survive, but the second time will most likely KO a character. The track is completed once the player crosses the checkered finish line.
F-Zero Grand Prix can be accessed with an Action Replay. The game specifically follows whoever is furthest on the track. If one person goes too far in one direction and the others can't catch up in time, they will self-destruct automatically. This can occur to multiple self-destructs if the person keeps on running. Crossing the finish line normally causes the game to freeze.
F-Zero Grand Prix is also the setting of Mute City (Super Smash Bros. Melee), Big Blue (Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl), and Port Town Aero Dive (Super Smash Bros. Brawl).
