TheF-Max Grand Prix was the predecessor of the F-zero Grand Prix. Not much is known about these races, only that the races where 200 years before the F-Zero Grand Prix was grounded and that the races where very bloody in that time. The F-Max Grand Prix was ended after a huge crash in the final, when some participants where burned alive.
A famous racer of the F-Max Grand Prix is Sterling LaVaughn, now known as The Skull in the F-Zero races. Sterling was able to survive for such a long time because he found a way to garantuee his immortality, a combo of science and black magic. He was also involved at the crash during the F-Max final.
