Anthony Ropkin is an original character for the F-Zero: GP Legend anime series.

Anthony Ropkin and his Red Fox

He first appears in Lap 14 in a flashack of Silver Neelsen's younger days. Being longtime rivals, Anthony got into an accident which resulted in being put into cold sleep for 70 years, with Neelsen believing he was dead. While Jack Levin and Rick Wheeler were participating in a race, and after Jack won breaking his losing curse, both Neelsen and Ropkin were tied in third, which averted the retirement on whoever lost. At the end of the episode, Anthony returns to F-Zero racing making minor recurring appearances and mentions.

Trivia

He is the only named pilot in the franchise to not have been playable in a video game.
His machine is a clone of the Golden Fox but painted red.
